Our Story

Kristin- I am a graphic designer and K-12 art teacher by trade but entrepreneur in spirit. I started a girls clothing company, a little posh, and grew it to a point of zero sleep and more stress than one person could handle! I have since picked up the paint brush and rediscovered my love of bringing back discarded pieces of furniture to life.  I am passionate about sharing my love of the arts, hunting at flea markets for golden junk and I dream of an old red barn on the beach. I consider myself a disorganized, creative, Christian suburban farm girl wannabe.  I have an affinity for the farmhouse, urban, rustic chic decorating style.  I am not a great cook, but have been told my banana bread is fantastic! I love dancing in the kitchen with my kids and singing in the car...albeit not great.  Above all else I am happiest when surrounded by our four children, family and friends...they are what is important.

Rose- First and foremost I receive much joy being a wife, mother and grandmother.  Besides working full time, my hobbies and passions include: making plans to spend time with my family and friends, exploring the great outdoors, live music and creating.  As of late I've been creating mosaics using different surfaces such as wood, stone and glass.  I completed a painting at a painting class held in my home, have been dabbling in wood burning, and I love to come up with a myriad of craft ideas to share with my grand children.  I also have a love of cooking, trying new foods in a varieties of establishments, photography, traveling and hopefully soon along with my husband, his Harley and our toy hauler.  I am a member of the Sheboygan County Chamber and attend many of the Business After Hours events.  Being a part of the shop has allowed me to see the art interests and creativity other people have. I have been trying out our General Finishes paints as I am learning all of the ways they can be mixed and matched to freshen up any  piece of furniture.
